Soup makes a quick and easy comfort food. And there’s alot of good that comes with every bowl of soup you have. On a rainy cold day: soup should be your best food because it will generously warm and fill you up. Sometimes you cook vegetables and your baby won’t have it: throw them in a blender and puree it. Baby will have it without really knowing it’s vegetables and his/her Veggie tolerance will increase. 
And the best thing about soups generally is that you can make alot of it at once, freeze it in containers and you can easily reheat whenever you want to have some. 

This yummy soup is packed with vitamins and starch. It’s really easy to make and babies can have it too if you don’t spice it too much. Follow the recipe below. ..


2 tablespoons unsalted butter 

1 onion, chopped 

1 garlic clove, minced

5 big potatoes, peeled, cleaned & diced

1/4 cup Coconut milk 

2 cups water 

2 bunches of fresh Spinach, tough stems removed


1 teaspoon Black pepper 

1/2 cup of cut bread pieces (or you can use croutons. I prefer using bread though)


1.Melt  butter in large pan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic  and potatoes. Stir well. Cook, stirring for 3 minutes. 

2.Pour coconut milk and 2 cups of water into the pan; stir to combine. Cover and bring to boil over medium low heat for about 15 minutes till potatoes are tender.

3.Add Spinach into the pan and cook until well tilted. Remove from heat. Pour the mixture into a blender and puree until smooth. (Work in batches) Return mixture into the saucepan, season with salt and pepper. Serve.

4. For the bread: Melt a tablespoon of butter in a pan. Add your bread andkeep tossing as it browns on all sides.
